Youth Nutrition Education Program

Youth Nutrition Education Program

The youth nutrition education program addresses the nutrition education needs of children and teens who are from limited income families. We collaborate with educators who extend nutrition education to their students using our research-based curriculum. The lessons focus on improving the health-related skills of children and teens to increase their fruit, vegetable and whole grain consumption; improve their snack choices; and increase their physical activity level. A program representative will provide free interactive, on-site educator training and support to schools and community organizations.
