The objective of the Wood Durability Program is to improve the long-term performance of wood and wood-based products through technology transfer and outreach, and applied research. Extending the useful service life of wood-based materials conserves our renewable wood resources. My applied research and outreach program is focused on wildfire and moisture exposures.
