Helping youth grow into responsible, productive adults is the focus of the Youth Development Program. Working collaboratively with a wide variety of community youth-serving agencies, the Community and Youth Development Advisor provides education and technical assistance on topics such as ages and stages of child development, resiliancy, service-learning and cross-age teaching. Curricular training is available in literacy and science and environmental education. Research on increasing youth voice in community decision-making is currently underway.
